One attack of Pounce without them expecting it will lower their Speed stat, and then you can finish off your opponent by using Bullet Seed before they can move next turn.

If you're trying to finish off your opponent quickly then you won't have time to worry about raising your Defense against the next Pokemon wanting to avenge their comrade. Maybe go with Superpower? Breloom is a Fighting type Pokemon, and it would receive Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) when using Superpower, a super powerful attack, against its target. His Attack power and Defense against upcoming attacks are lowered when he decides to use Superpower like a hero, so you have to use this move very carefully.
>sporeNow, I know I just told you that you won't have time to care about your Defense to use Bulk Up, but Spore is too good of a move to pass up. It puts your opponents to sleep guaranteed and then you can follow it up with Bullet Seed. Stun Spore may be a stunning move that stuns your opponents, but it's also inaccurate and only cuts the target's speed in half instead of preventing them from moving at all. Hope this helps.
