>>57054313it really depends on a game by game basis. most of the hype for betas came from the gen 2 spaceworld leak, and a lot of those were legitimately really cool. gens 3 and 4 were underwhelming in comparison for sure. but even then it's cool to see the design stages of familiar Pokemon.
