It can be hard to image liking and trusting anyone enough to be willing to share a collective consciousness with them, but I think if you DID manage to find people you had such deep compatibility with that, much like Garnet in Steven Universe (terrible as that show otherwise was), it could be pretty blissful. Plus you get to live as one of the more badass Pokemon there is. Not a bad deal if you have the right disposition for it.
