I now have a piece of paper.>>57082369>... I might've written a porn fic of the two so long ago when S/V first released. Very much not up to my own standards...By that do mean by quality or by lack of Kiki?
Wouldn't mind taking a gander at it regardless, but I do understand if you don't want to>Hadn't thought of it that way but it makes a fuck load of sense. I just figured it was to cover for Ice and nothing more.Of the types to Tera to in order to defend against Ice attacks, Fire and Steel are likely better for a Grass/Dragon, since they both resist Fairy. But from a Doylist POV, that'd be doubling up/stepping on the toes of half of his E4 and from a in universe point of view, Kieran probably considers them beneath him (his dialogue regarding the E4, while not outright dismissive isn't exactly brimming with praise for them). And Water and Ice don't really fit his character. Water trainers tend to be fairly alright people, with the most socially distant arguably being Nessa, and even then she's hardly on Kieran's level of negativity. Even Archie, who's outright the villain is much less aloof than his opposite number Maxie.
Kieran is colder after TM, but he's got an obsessive frustration that's building up under the surface that doesn't really fit the cold ice type archetype (to be fair Candice didn't really fit in either back in Gen IV, but there's a difference imo)
And ok, I probably memed Geeta's Tera choices too hard. Glimmora being Tera Rock is so you can see one Tera of each type (since Titans don't Tera, the Elite Four + Champ have to pick up the slack. Well this is assuming you go rematch the Team Star bosses), and it's also funny for a Larry shipping POV. Plus, Klawf is one of the first possible story encounters in the game, so Geeta hearkening back to that is a neat book ends.
To bring back the overlapping thing, that Geeta doesn't mind Tera-flying Gambit shows how her consideration of the E4 differs from Kieran.
