>Level scaling
Have the gyms/battles scale based on when you challenge them. For instance if I challenge the Rock Gym first then they'll have 2 Pokemon at Lv. 12-15 or whatever, if I face them 6th, maybe they'll have 3-4 Pokemon at Lv. 40-44. Give it some more cohesion rather than a mess of trying to figure out the exact order of things.
>Cohesive Areas/Routes
This is less of an issue with the DLC since each area is divided and more distinct, but a big problem with the base game, areas blend together and have no real clear divider. I'm not asking for road blocks, or "desert into ice mountain", but there could at least be better visual indicators such as Route Numbers that pop up like older games, or having very distinct cut off points, such as a river between two grass areas that are essentially and otherwise interconnected.
>Buttons
For the love of God please fix the button layout, Start is Riding, X is Menu, R is Pokemon, it's such a fucking mess.
>More varied locations
SV was good for what it was, but I'd like to see bigger building dungeons, or more interesting cave layouts (beyond just Alfo Cavern, and maybe have them look distinct, such as an Ice Cavern or a volcanic cavern).
>Sandwiches
Either remove them entirely or have search functions and reduce some shit, it's a bit too much, maybe an auto complete after you've made a specific one for instance.
>Lag
For the love of God, every time it rains or you're near the Lake its god awful
>Trainer Customization
Remove the school shit, let me customize, don't give an in lore reason for why I can't
>Option to turn off exp share, friendship saving, difficulty differences, etc.
Not needed, but a variety of people play, let everyone have the option
>No gimmicks
I know this is never happening, but we don't need tera, mega, gigantamax, raids, etc. Just have it be a traditional adventure with Pokemon you catch, nothing more, they don't need extra superpowers basically
