There is something to be said about a tight group of 4 artists working together under close supervision of a visionary developer working towards the clear artistic goal of a fresh project over a giant clusterfuck made up of the work of dozens of artists with completely different design sensibilities and marketing direction under the underlying principle of "we have to keep this going" over the course of decades all mashed together into a giant mess.
