They shilled Grenjina, people liked it so much it won Pokemon of the year. In what world did it fail? If anything it was so successful your previous points were possibly intentional sabotage by TPC because they were afraid Greninja was threatening CHARIZARDERINO. And even now, most pokemon fans would rank Greninja in the top 5 starters
