For adults, sure that sucks, but I remember playing demo discs back in the day or watching trailers that spoiled tons of shit too, quite a bit different, but still. It does suck, but it is whatever.
I think it negatively affects certain things more, Pokemon is a good example. We know the entire damn dex before the games even come out anymore and avoiding it, while possible, is not the easiest thing to do if you still post here after all.
