I always found it strange how Route 113's theme song gave off such a Christmas/Winter vibe when it's supposed to be a place covered in volcanic ash. That and the fact that the falling ash looked like snow seemed extremely odd to young me.

I don't get how people are still mispronouncing pokemon names from the first 5 gens when there's an official source that gives official, correct pronunciations for all of them, and any gen 6-9 pokemon that's appeared in the Anime uses the official pronunciation of the name because TPC handles the dub now.

Manteen is revisionist newspeak. It was Mantine (Like Valentine's) in Gen 2, Gen 3, and Gen 4, that's how Mantyke got its English name. If it's Manteen, are we gonna have to start calling Mantine's pre-evo Manteek now?

Like how Regice was originally pronounced as REDGE-ee-ice, in line with the other Regis, but they changed it to REDGE-ice later and it's stayed that way since

Or how Arceus was originally ARSE-ee-us in Pokemon Battle Revolution, but when dubbing the Arceus movie, TPCi changed it to ARK-ee-us for obvious reasons, and that's stuck, and been reinforced with RKS System and the Arc Phone
