Why wasnt there more uproar over this lame design? It's supposed to be "God", it barely looks more legendary than Absol and doesnt even have any biblical inspirations

I think it's cool. I never got the obsession over the beta design that's just a fart cloud. All the fanboying over it feels forced as fuck.
Also, I really like the concept/theory that says Unowns are all parts from Arceus that separated from the original body. Idk why but there's something really cool about God turning into a bunch of strange small creatures that are really just larges eyes to watch over the world.

Aus is literally just Arceus’s internal name, like “owl3” for Decidueye and “haganedragon” for Duraludon. The internal notes for a bunch of pokemon were leaked up through SM, and Arceus is still labeled Aus there.

Anon it’s named after Zeus, lives in a Greek temple, and is closer to a Japanese Kami if anything. The myths written about it are based around Classical and Norse mythology, like overtaking a giant race and people cutting its children out of the body of a giant. Its children are also mentioned in the concepts to be representative of Japan’s ethnic groups.

It’s a mostly pagan pokemon. The only crucially biblical aspect to it is Giratina, which we know from the both the recent leaks and the proto DP leaks was a literal last second addition to the lore, to the point that it’s still labeled as Kimairan in Battle Revolution’s files.
