Only men go places alone. Single women don't go anywhere alone except for a few basic places like a grocery store or their job. Even in gyms, most of the women I have seen are with men, or other women. And in these places they're hyper-defensive. They are experts at subtly averting their gaze, physically turning away, creating space, etc, just to avoid any possibility that men will mistakenly get a signal. It's a meme that you will ever just randomly encounter a woman in public that will actually talk to you. And 99% of the time they're staring at their phones if they aren't with men or a mixed group. They're nothing to talk about to a total stranger anyway. When you look up stats on how couples met, it's all school, work and common friends, or now, dating apps but that is just for tall chads.
