It's best that there are no modern remakes considering the tragedy of BDSP.

It'll be dumbed down, the Bell Tower will become a cutscene, and following Pokemon will be removed.

malie garden is more of Kanto and Hoenn homage, it's got swablu and Growlithe statues and the river is Gyarados shaped. the only thing "johto" about it is the pagoda but that's just there to fit the japanese garden aesthetic. malie city doesn't even have any johto things the gym is Kanto themed

Don't worry, once BW2 is remade, they'll go back and start remaking the games again but in the style of SV. So we'll get open world Kanto and Johto as well. With Kanto for Gen 2 being DLC.

Bro... like, who tf unironically wants another Let's Go game, they couldn't even bother giving Kanto day/night cycle for once, let alone the fact that the only form of postgame (Sevii Islands) were removed instead of being expanded upone
This was their occasion to make cool shit like Crystal Onix real via regional forms and they squandered it to make the safest most boring remake imaginable... while costing 60$ on release btw (+50$ for Mew DLC)
