>>57136295I don't particularly care, those things should stay. But if I had to fix them, then I'd probably do it like this.
>FlinchingCertain moves have it and always flinch, but only if it goes first (so priority moves would negate the flinch).
>CriticalFine the way they are, they were already nerfed, and you should be accounting for the possibility of them in the first place, it's part of the skill. Either switch out or use stuff like Roost, etc. Otherwise items that boost it should be a higher boost so you're forced to play around the item as well for strategic value.
>ParalyzeParalyze has increased chances of losing your turn per turn. For instance Turn 1 is at 10%, Turn 2 is at 30%, Turn 3 is at 70%, Turn 4 is at 100%. So while there is still a chance there, it's more predictable, and resets on switch out.
>Freeze/ChilledFreeze prevents Physical Attacks, Chilled prevents Special Attacks, and now you have to work around it.
>SleepCertain moves should be an auto-wake up, for instance fire moves, fighting moves, etc. Otherwise I think its fine and basically a free hit. So you run the risk of your free hit waking the Pokemon up immediately and getting hit as well in return, meaning your sleep strategies need to account for typing and special/physical as well.
They should add other status conditions too to the game. Frostbite, Petrify, Infestation, that do act like DoTs or similar to the Freeze/Chilled/Sleep suggestions.
