In the same generation we have Zacian and Calyrex-Shadow with the most brokens abilities plus broken stats and the literally Gods of Time and Space respectivaly have just a small banana... and in Gen 9 we have just hungry dragons for some sandwiches with Drought and Electric Surge but better...Just give them ability for Roar of Time and Meteor Beam without recharge and I dont know criticals hit 24/7 for OG Palkia...so simple GF...

These things are basically shitmons. The Sinnoh trio has received zero changes to their movesets etc. since Platinum. No boosting moves. No utility moves beyond Giratina inheriting defog when they decided to make it useful. Got telepathy as an HA and still no one wants to use them in VGC. Giratina may well be the absolute worst restricted legendary in official formats, while Dialga/Palkia are unusable in Smogon Ubers.

The orbs and their 20% boost obviously can’t cut it anymore, either. Xerneas/Yveltal get a 33% stab boost for FREE. Kyogre gets a 50% stab boost and Groudon a freeze immunity, 50% coverage boost and water resistance (stab + immunity if they bring primals back) for FREE. Koraidon gets freeze immunity, 50% coverage, and 50% attack for FREE. Miraidon gets sleep immunity, 30% stab, and 50% special attack for FREE.

Give Dialga/Palkia calm mind and buff the damage output of all 3 when holding their respective orbs at the very least. Change the effects of their signature moves to something more useful in origin forms to actually incentivize using the unoptimized garbage that is Dialga-O. Their LA items shouldn’t even be held items anyway, just make them transformation items from the bag like Shaymin’s or Hoopa’s and keep the orbs as they are.

Pressure is fine, I'd rather them buff Roar of Time and Spacial Rend for the Origin Formes. Roar of Time should be -7 priority and, in addition to its current damage and recharge, set Trick Room. Having an untauntable Trick Room would give Dialga a powerful niche, with the only counterplay being taking advantage of it on its recharge turn. Spacial Rend should set Gravity. All of Palkia's best moves are inaccurate, so being able to give it 100% accurate Hydro Pump, Thunder, and Fire Blast would be a fine buff. Both of those changes would put Origin Dialga and Palkia in the same power bracket as the "good" restricteds without being broken.
