>>57141779Easily one of my favorite starters and Pokemon of all time, I love every single stage in the line, the only issue I have with Sceptile is how awful it's stat distribution, movepool and type fuck it over, what's funny is that in the beta designs as we come to find out Grovyle was an evolution for what was most likely an early concept for both Scraggy and Archen, which was Rock/Flying, two secondary types that would have fit Sceptile decently fine and made it so much better due to having a secondary STAB. Heck, I tried a fangame that exchanged Sceptile's physical and special stats and it was surprising just how much better it became, there's so many ways it could be improved and yet it gets nothing.
