>>57147701Sorry to disabuse your ebin headcanon, but the pokémon world isn't ours and is shown to differ heavily from ours to reinforce that, from the creatures that break our laws of physics just by existing and acting as presented, the humans who have a much higher tolerance for physical trauma and resistance to elemental attacks by pokémon, to the fact they have instantaneous transportation between floors on a building, along with stairs and lifts (which doesn't create a copy of the transported material, it just kicks the player direct to the connecting tile on the connecting floor). And if they can make a warp tile, to send a body to see the boss, they can absolutely set up a two-way between the pastures and the pokémon centers, especially now they're showing smartphones with actual intelligence being able to handle the transfer of party members.
Stop thinking of this shit as the real world when it's convienient. Because off top of my head, we haven't the tech to dematerialise and store large items, much less animals, in stasis as balls of energy in the real world either. Nor have shrinking creatures. But the pokémon universe DOES have shrinking creatures and warp tiles that act akin to apparition or maybe the floo network from Harry Potter and sends people right to where they want to go directly. Meaning it's more likely they similarly have teleportation of far smaller items alongside the human teleports.
