>>57163155>anything going mainstream/greed ruins all thingsYeah. It makes me sad honestly.
Now that things *I* like have exploded, I understand the "hipsters" I used to make fun of back in college. Its a shame. I hope its a quick fad honestly.
>ironically Japanese politicians are just retarded not greedy, hence their weird almost anti-tourist movesThey should do that more.
>However Japan as a place and its hospitality in general still rockYeah. I never felt more comfortable and safe in a large city than I did in Japan. It really opened my eyes a bit and showed me that I actually love cities, I just hate most major American cities because of what they've become. But when done right, with a populace that doesn't self destruct at every opportunity they can, its truly great. Walking down the street at 2am in the middle of the city is not something I would do here.
Don't stay a teacher forever though.
But I don't wanna turn a trading card thread into politics, so I'll drop it.
tl;dr japan nice. Recent mainstream weebism is fucking lame.
I know its a bit of a tourist trap these days, but I really like Akiba. Its
fun.>>57163061Yes unironically.
Back to cards. I just left my parents place and dug out some old cards. I'm gonna post them after I get back from a new years party because its cool. I found picrel and a bunch more that I'd been looking for for ages.
