You know considering the legends games are single player, I wonder how GF is gonna maintain an entire year of only one game ZA, even them released a new trailer for SV when PLA was the new shit coming up

There was only one Legends game prior ZA, no trends have been established yet. We know nothing about the game, this one might have multiplayer.

Easy, L: Z-A's not launching until next november and by time January '26 rolls around, they'll be dropping Ruin shinies through VGC comps and likely have ran a serial code distribution for SV, along with any repeat raids to allow the kids who got the game this christmas, but didn't git gud to get Fug in time and of course missed the MM events (meaning potential Mewtwo/Mew re-run on top) before Pokémon day '26 reveales the SwitchUp's dedicated gen 10 effort.

It likely won't however and absolutely not if set in the same era as L: A, when they stated in that battle competitions were in their infancy in places of populace like Kanto. If League competitions are non-existent in-universe at the time of events, why would multiplayer be needed beyond trading (which they implemented in L: A anyway)?

If it does have multiplayer, it won't be a significant kind. They've well-established for Switch era that only the focal point of VGC will get meaningful multiplayer.
