Everything else, including the Legends games, is just called Pokemon.Yeah, it's a branding thing, they use the term "Pocket Monsters series" to refer to what TPCi had to clumsily refer to as "mainline Pokemon games" after suddenly discovering 15 years too late that the western releases weren't named the same way as the Japanese ones, and they didn't really have a way to refer to "THESE Pokemon games as opposed to THOSE OTHER Pokemon games".
