Usually on Touhou specific popularity contests, famous animations or memes boost the rankings of specific touhous. So I figured there must be something that came out last year that gave her a boost. She is an old character at this point too.
Not that I mind of course, she is one of my all time favorites too, I'm just trying to logic this.
