Yes, it should also do version exclusive DLC legendaries, trade evolutions, and comp. held items. It should also do version exclusive exclusive DLC. So for instance Red would get DLC1, Blue gets DLC2, and so on. Also each version with each DLC can only connect to future game versions with future specific DLC. Go full on corporate bullshit with it.

With many of the changes in SV going on downspiral of quality, I can believe it.
IVs will remain, incense is added back into the game, the option to change text speed will be removed, Festival Plaza returns under a new name and will somehow be even worse than before, and so on.

This particularly sucks because you just know it's gonna be used to justify your favorite mons being dexcut due to "modeling" reasons
Especially if said models are for NPCs with barely any relevance (just like the kalos rival squad)

You either have unrealstic expectations, or don't know how bad things really could get
You're getting YET ANOTHER set of new starter mons designed specifically to sell plushies and nothing else
Whether or not they actually end up being good in a playthrough is an afterthought
