I don't think they will, sadly. Nu-card game economy actually panders to scalpers since they buy up products quickly, generating massive revenue
Also seeing the insane prices on the secondary market makes your brand seem like a luxury brand and generates good publicity

lol this is not true, at least not for card games. You can tell by just looking at literally anyone who actively scalps tcgs that they are all big fat losers who have no clue how to make money any other way.

Are they fairly cheap to get? Not big into Disney but the artwork on some of them is nice. I basically only import Pokemon TCG from Japan after the English sets release so the initial FOMO wave is over.

I don't know too much about Lorcana but every set has several cards worth over 100$ each and their meta decks (lowest rarities) can get up to several hundred dollars. So there is definitely value in the game.

I simple just won't buy them. I couldn't find any Surging Sparks for MSRP so I just bought Electric Breaker from the Japanese Pokemon center. It's not the same but fuck paying some dirty chink 3x MSRP for a new product.
