Still, shooting "Pokemon" with guns is technically "for adults", and so is butchering them en masse with a conveyor belt that spits out their drops. Plus we've got the surgery table coming up in probably the next update, and the world's loaded up with depressed people living in shacks talking about how their friend was eaten alive or whatever.
Plus, this is one of the few games made the last 20 years where enslaving someone is a legit option, even if there's no reason to.
Palworld is "adult", just not as much as it could be (or should be.)

>>57190499I dunno, when Palworld got TPC's attention enough to make them mad enough to sue them, I hoped that maybe that will help coax them into making the next Pokemon game not total shit, but we haven't seen any new Pokemon games yet to test that theory, unless you include Sleep, I guess.
Really though, Pokemon is the #1 most profitable media franchise of all time, I don't get why they half-ass everything so much. I know the games and anime are really just there to advertise merch, but it's incredibly annoying to have my childhood franchise stagnate almost immediately and take a nosedive as soon as it goes to full 3D.
