Been playing Stadium 2 recently after getting to round 2 on Stadium 1 last year. Started with Little Cup and holy shit they bring out the evasion cancer strats in the 4th battle. Then later you notice that opponents have items far beyond the berries you can use (not that berries are useless of course.) Naturally the final battle is the worst. Took me 4 separate attempts not including the 2 or 3 continues I typically had going into it and never saw his Pichu but he always used some combo with Chansey, Scyther, or that fast as fuck Poliwag each with better moves than the rental versions could ever dream of. Got lucky on my winning attempt seeing his Sentret hurt itself before my last mon Doduo finished it.
Maybe it's easier to gamble on mons with moves like Fire Blast and Blizzard but I have worse accuracy with Mankey's Cross Chop than the AI gets with Thunder.
Still fun games though I love beating this stuff. Anyone else try to beat both of these games?
