>>57201772Simply because it can pivot with u-turn, Skarm is too passive and invites too many threats for free. Defog used to be invaluable too but not so much now with ghold running around.
Also Corv's much higher hp makes it just as tanky even if Skarm's def stat is way higher:

This, with the added advantage of Corv having much better spdef.
Not that Skarm's completely outclassed, it's still the second best spike setter in the game (third if you count Hamurott)
