Play it then. If you're concerned about physical, import a new Japanese copy of the game pack with DLC because they were updated in revision 004 to have everything on cart. Barring a Switch 2 compatibility patch the game is done getting updates.

You can catch something like 350/400 Pokémon with no badges, availability is not a problem.
I'm not a speedrunner fag because I like video games but I can't imagine why you'd need more than Skeledirge and Flamigo anyway if you were just trying to speed through the game with no distractions

Idk if you know this, but gen 9 change it so that you can ran away from trainer battles now. At least the ones with generics, but I guess a Nuzlocke would not allow you to use this feature.
