They finished the game over a year ago by porting the XY map into PLA and adding a few reskins. They've been spending the rest of their time jerking it to pokeporn created by the AI tools they are using to generate their nu-mon designs nowadays.

Anon, rebooting the game to clear up the memory leaks is *still* part of the speedrunning route.
And one of the two version is unusable solely because its box legendary create so much additional lag.
Yeah it's speedtrannism, but the game is still a laughing stock in the bug&glitch category - not just two weeks after release.

Give GF a console 2 times more powerful and they will just optimize 3 times less.
It's kind of a general trend in the industry nowadays, but GF has been doing it for 2 decades now and are the master in this category.
It might save S/V, but it won't save the game designed from the beginning for the Switch 2.

My main problem with how Arceus look isn't even the "why are your environments barely better than a N64 game" aspect, it's the weird pastel palette (that still manage to be gaudy) and the absolute dogshit lighting.
The art director deserve to be shot, with shotgun shells loaded with barbed wire & salt.

That could be an excuse if it at least gave the game some actual visual flair, like Okami or Valkyria Chronicles did.
Arceus literally look like someone's first Unity project, where they had no idea how to configure lights, randomly found the Color Balance tab once, toyed with all the sliders, and could never remember where it was afterward so they left it like that.

I simply think it's cool that there's people who are skilled enough to beat games in small timeframes and I try not to let stuff like what their sexuality is stop me from admiring their accomplishments.
