Any other states are big chunks of land cut in rectangular shapes shapes. I guess NE or California could be used too, but they're already a step down. The Great Lakes area could have been nice in a proper game but alas...
That said, regions have sucked since Kalos, seeing my country turned into the horror that is Paldea wasn't nice, and none of you want that either.
