For every holder that runs into financial problems, they will just liquidate at 60-80% market value to another vendor.
It kind of becomes a shell shuffle game, especially since you have new vendors entering the marketing taking on these risks as well.
It sits on stock as inventory almost indefinitely for some of these people.
Once it becomes a shuffle item it's kind of stuck in that cloud.
If pokemon decides to reprint it, as an insert and it's completely the exact same as the one that's pulled from packs, that would tank the market on it.
I honestly think Pokemon should do this to scare off the investor market.
