>>57216482I mean, it's just kind of boring. Nidoking is basically the same thing but looks miles cooler and has an interesting gender counterpart gimmick. Even Kagaskhan is along the same lines and has a more compelling hook to it's design and lore. And then later gens have stuff like Aggron and the like. Outside of being the first pokemon design, why SHOULD anyone care about Rhydon really when it's archetype has been done again and again but better?
Also Rhyhorn is cooler.
