What style of Pokemon training do you prefer?

Do you prefer the more hands on grind to train Pokemon in the older games or the convenience of newer ones thanks to the EXP Share being on at all times.

The older games are so badly designed that there's never any reason to use more than one Pokemon. The exp share is objectively better.

Newer but the games really need to start going longer and having higher levels to justify it, 25 years later and we still have nearly the exact same final boss levels as before

Team Exp. Share should have been 50% on the used Pokemon and then the rest take the other 50% divided evenly. Increasing the total Exp yield was not a good idea.

This makes the exp share completely fucking pointless. Increasing the total exp yield is the entire point.

Hands on during the main campaign, convenience for postgame when completing the Pokédex or making new teams for the battle facilities and occasionally during the main campaign when needed. The 3DS games had the best option balance between the EXP Share toggle, Super Training, and the Poké Pelago.

They refuse to add difficulty options for whatever reason while also wanting Youngster Joey to clear it by letting his team win by being overleveled.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, I have nostrong feelings on exp share. It does make raising pokemon easier and less of a hassle which I appreciate. But it does come with the flaw that you aren't actually engaging in playing with the pokemon you are training which weakens the narrative of bonding with your pokemon. So it's got pros and cons.
