by your logic, wouldnt the sequel to a tech demo be a more developed game? That tech demo was more interesting than gens 8 and 9 combined. The new designs may have been mostly shit, but most of the ride pokemon looked good.

Nintendo can give gamefreak all the time in the world and they'll still make a shit game.

Look at any of their other modern games, giga breaker is a shitty platformer, little town hero is trash. The only good game to come out of them is that James turner guy who left to make plucky squire, which is pretty fun.
