User interface is very important. Serebii obfuscates things while Bulbapedia makes things simple, so I use the latter. I still use Serebii for Pokemon news, however.

Bulbapedia is where I go for trivia like how a mon would've got its name or what quotes a character has said. Serebii I go to for news and mon data (in the latter case, because the Bulbapedia page is way too busy when I just want a straight answer about a move or something).

Yeah that's more clicking and scrolling than Serebii since you have to read the table of contents to see where exactly you have to redirect to instead of Serebii where you know it's right there as you open the page as it's not a long page.

PokemonDB is better than both BP and Serebii in that regard. It's honestly really underrated as a database for pokemon.

Pokemondb has replaced all these other websites since I only ever used them for in-game data anyway. Serebii was my go to for years because I found it easier to navigate than the rest. (Yes, this means I liked its UI, sue me)

I mostly use Serebii for news. I will sometime use it for specific info on a pokemon if it pops up first in my search. Bulbapedia is were i usually go when I want a large amount of information on a Pokémon or aspect of the games or anime.

serebii's only value is as a museum of the old internet. I respect that he hasn't changed the UI in 20 years because there's very few sites like that left, but it's dogshit to actually use.
