>>57229342There's a common belief (especially among new fans) that HGSS are unplayable garbage because the EXP curves leads the player to be underlived compared do bosses in later parts of the game, OP being able to defeat Red with a team of mid 60's is evidence that the the complaints about HGSS's EXP curve are exaggerations or intentionally bad faith arguments made to slander Johto to make new games look better.
