If there was more reason to base a Gen around it, like say having a population density of over 200 people per square mile, instead of the 9 people PSM, we'd undoubtedly have gone there. As it stands, gonna have to wait until they exhaust the first world countries and start filling out the series with third world ones.

Most of Australia’s lived in cities vary greatly in environment. The only thing we don’t really have is a snowy area, but even then Antarctica could be in the game, or Tassie could be the designated snowy place.

True, but it’s not a particularly large area that’s all. I feel like if they did make an Aussie game they’d stick to the east coast. And maybe make a never ending procedurally generated desert/bushland area to the west, with the way they’re going.

That'd be missing out on the deserts and frontier boom downs of western Australia, and the archetypical Outback of the NT. I had the idea of portraying the western towns like they're Mad Max, slapped together out of old car parts and filled with dead corals/rotted boats from a long evaporated sea.
