As for Kecleon, I think Game Freak is more scared of Color Change than Protean, so they just dexit it along with Castform and Galarian Stunfisk, but I bet they would dexit Greninja and Cinderace and give Meowscarada a different hidden ability instead of nerfing Protean if they didn't have starter shilling as a feature of Indigo Disk.
