Gen 5 still had every ribbon from every previous games AND added the most medals any game added.
Then, games after Gen 5 axed nearly half of existing ribbons (the whole appeal of ribbons is seeing the exact same ribbon your transferred oldmon earned in another game AS IT APPEARED) while also having less medals. Further games even further removed medals.
No game "put back in" ribbons because they were never actually replaced by medals in any way. It were the games AFTER medals that deleted many ribbons to never appear again.

Oh, so nothing was removed, got it.
Meanwhile, Gen 5 lets me still keep every ribbon from all previous games.
But at the same time, XY reduced the total number of ribbons from 80 to 46, so I guess we found the game that actually removed the ribbons!

Name a single ribbon BW removed. You can't, because it kept every single ribbon from DP and all the games before it.
Meanwhile, XY removed dozens of ribbons from previous games. The whole point of ribbons is that they stay with your pokemon and are specific to what they earned, which is shat on by reducing the number of ribbons.

Looks like XY actually removed ribbons. You're complaining about the ability to obtain NEW ribbons, which is fair, but isn't nearly as big of a deal as straight up REMOVING ribbons which are supposed to be preserved. Why can't you just admit XY fucked up by removing scores of them and replacing with only 16?

Yes, the point of a ribbon is to have it, not have it disappear. Unova has all of the ribbons. XY doesn’t because it removed many.
DP has 80 ribbons. BW has 80 ribbons. XY has 46 ribbons. Clearly XY has less content and is the one that removed ribbons. The fact that you still didn’t define “remove” proves you’re retarded.

Yes it did and they’re literally listed out and individually spoonfed for you. You’re just blatantly ignoring reality at this point. You’re basically saying PLA having less Pokemon than SwSh doesn’t matter because it introduces a handful of new ones. Or SwSh having less Pokemon than USUM doesn’t matter because it introduces some new ones. In both of these cases, the total of obtainables decreased dramatically, meaning there was a lot of removal relative to the games before them. You used the word “remove”, not anyone else. Now deal with the consequences.
