There is literally a Department store called Shopping Mall Nine on Unova Route 9, and Hau'oli City has it's own Mall, as well as the Abandoned Megastore and its counterpart

The difference between them is that a department store is just one store that sells a bunch of different shit, while a mall is a large building that has multiple stores, including department stores. Macy's, Nordstrom, and Ross for example are department stores, and your local mall probably has one inside among other stores.

Shopping Mall Nine fits the purpose of Dpt Store in these games

Lumiose City essentially fits this purpose with all the shops it has and the items they sell
>Gen VII
Hau'oli Mall fits this purpose, though admittedly besides clothes and a couple events, it's nowhere near as impressive as other games.

Officially stops here, SwSh onwards (aside from remakes) wouldn't feature anywhere considered as a Department Store, with there instead just being many Marts, Boutiques, etc dotted across the region.
