>gen 4 (dpp) has performance issues, bad type balancing, especially with fire types, too many babies and uninteresting pokemons
>gen 4 remake has the same problems as original
>gen 5 had the issue of the pokedex as well as being considered way too linear
>gen 6 pokemon models & animations are bland with no personnality
> gen 7 handholds you too much, has a shittier online than gen 5, unsurprising story
