>>57264498Bit of a tangent but I thought it was funny James Turner was labeling his work here as fan art considering he was the art director for Sword and Shield and has designed loads of pokemon as official Game Freak staff over the years, and my girlfriend wanted to know who he was so I started looking into him on bulbapedia to show her his resume. I had mistakenly thought Turner had designed Shadow Lugia from XD Gale of Darkness, but it turns out I was only partially correct, as Shadow Lugia was only finalized by Turner and was initially sketched by a mangaka who worked as a character designer on the Orre games with the pen name SIN-ichi Hiromoto. Anyways, I looked into his work, namely a manga from 2002 called STONe and if you've ever played the Orre games, then you'll absolutely recognize this guy's style. If you're a Colo/XD-head like me then you'll appreciate his stuff. And to tie this back to Wooper, everyone knows Quagsire's one of the best and most fun pokemon to use in Colosseum.
