I can't remember the whole periodic table but I can know the name of any Pokémon I'm shown, because the latter actually I care about and matters to me while the former does not.
Especially when I was teenager just doing my homework and schoolwork just well enough just for the sake getting it over with so I can then do what I actually want to do.
