This also proves that investors aren’t necessary for a product to exist. Even if investors suddenly vanished, people would still buy the Umbreons and the Pikachus.
In fact, I’d argue that investors often end up making people resent the company and its product, driving them away. This ultimately leads to the product's downfall because, without fans to buy it, there’s no value left to invest in.
But this doesn't matter much right now, because 99% of current pokemon investors/scalpers don't even know what they bought and will be sitting on a pile of cardboard once they reprint the newer sets to the ground. Your best bet is to open all the product you have, try to pull that Umbreon and break even before it falls below 1k. the longer you wait, the worse it'll get.
