Due to an accident, an excess of Infinity Energy causes some Pokémon to forcefully Mega Evolve without stones, and they'll be the bosses of the game. These Pokémon have gone berserk, and the theme of Mega Evolution being harmful to Pokémon will be brought up again. Zygarde will step in because a forced Mega Evolution without stones is dangerous and goes against the natural order
