There was FRLG event were it jumped at a girl, but isn't that what most wild pokemon do? There isn't anything to suggest it was after anything other than dreams (still creepy but a far cry the the stuff projected on to it).
to be fair there was that Drowzee from MD who was a creep to a marill, but i haven't played that so I don't know all the details, regardless MD has plenty of Pokemon who are villains so its weird to single that one out.
