I bought a luxury ball once thinking it'd have cosmic eclipse in it but it had SV base and paldea evolved. I do not recommend pokeballs not because they're overpriced but because packs are stuffed in there awkwardly (it's a fucking ball) and there's a good chance the cards inside are ruined because of it.

CGC doesn't want to release a formal statement until they have confirmed with their insurance company that they can cover the costs.

The insurance company wants a police report and criminal investigation confirming that CGC had no prior knowledge of the cards potentially being counterfeit, the insurance company believes that CGC potentially knew they were fakes and are simply using the insurance company as a back up plan if found out. In this circumstance it would be considered insurance fraud and would also not cover the costs.

If I had to guess there will be a short bull market in the summer and then more interest for 30th anniversary before there’s a price correction due to it not being as hyped. Cards can lose value rapidly because when they start going down people who aren’t that attached to them or bought in for speculative reasons tend to dump it at the same time

Pokémon are definitely going to scale up printing like they did in response to the huge covid wave and people will lose interest in pokémon again. SWSH alts won’t hit their ATL but there’s a lot of supply with people holding and a lot of new peole who will leave. If you want to do mental gymnastics to convince yourself that buying SWSH hits when several cards are already starting to plateau after massive spikes is a good idea you can, I’ll wait 1.5-2 years and buy smaller cards or older ones I want for my binder.
