>>57346238That's looking pretty good so far! I can rearrange the menu elements to be pretty much anywhere on the screen, and my plan had been to position them based on what spot looked good on top of the background art. So that yellow box is good, but don't worry too much about "Where is he going to fit the menu?!" That's my problem.
A few notes before you proceed with more concrete lineart. Marnie shouldn't be smiling; her expression should be sort of blank or at most somewhat curious. I don't want her to look overtly sexualized on the title screen, so for example I don't want a skirt that's so short that you can see her panties, or inexplicable DD breasts. I'm only saying this because three artists did that as I was trying to find someone to draw the character sprites for her. Technically in the story she's supposed to be 18 (mostly for legal reasons) but I don't want her to look like she's been specifically "aged up" or redesigned to be older. I just don't want the typical reader to look at the title screen and think, "Oh, this girl is clearly a prebuscent 10 year old." The lineart so far looks like you hit the right balance here.
Just for reference, this is how my previous artist drew her character sprites, with some further editing from me. If it helps.
