all the repeat visits to Kanto have stripped any magic it had like so much shit has been removed, censored, or called back to that there's no real point going back to Kanto. there's no safari zone, no playable game corner, the games don't have bikes anymore so cycling road irrelevant, certain layouts and scenarios have even been copied 1:1 from their Kanto counterparts I think the only "unique" thing Kanto has that hadn't been referenced in other games is buying a Magikarp for 5 bucks and a useable poke flute
