Its for furry ai gen art. It's on the /trash/ board. Some anon made a ton of Jolteon in a coat, probably based off of this image if I recall correctly. Most of their gens with Jolteon are safe for work but obviously being on /trash/ the board is very not safe for work.

To start GU is a spinoff/anniversary title and the divide between Portable and Mainline existed way before GU (see the difference between Tri and Portable 3rd or Dos and Freedom games) otherwise I agree even if I prefer GU over 3U/4U

other than features like the farm, a more arcadey progression and other changes, the Freedom games didn't differ gameplay-wise as much to their main-numbered titles compared to 4U-GU and especially World-Rise(pretty sure Freedom 1 was just a port of MHG but with Yian Garuga).
P3rd is indeed weird but you have to keep in mind the switch to Nintendo thing back then which might've been a factor.

Oh yeah, Gameplay wise they play the same but it's more about the loop of the game, Dos is certainly different than MHFU in terms of gameplay loop (Granted Dos is such a weird game and the same could be said about stuff like Tri with the Bowgun customization)
Back to Pokémon, not a hater but gen 5 onward is certainly a controversial game, haven't played XY but played USUM and it was ok
