That's exactly what I don't get with the whole idea of it being designed as a boss thing. Levels exist, so do Moves and so on. A Pokémon of a powerful species can be adjusted for a specific in-game battle instead of changing stuff about the species itself.
>>57368178I remember thinking it was so cool to found out there was a Pokémon now with a four digit BST now. Only to find out its mostly because of padding out the defensive Base Stats, for a Pokémon Battle without the regular gameplay, that ends up being easy anyway and have the Form be unusable by the player.
