what about all the eeveelutions evolving into the same new pokemon? lets called it hypereon, flareon evolves into hypereon, umbreon evolves into hypereon as well, so everyone else, but if hypereon evolved from leafeon, hypereon would be grass type, if hypereon evolved from espeon, it would be psychic, and so on.
in summary all the eeveelutions evolving into the same mon, but this new mon would adopt the preevo's type
